Directions to the Buckminster Fuller Dome on the SIUE Campus

FROM ALTON VIA RT 143:

Take Route 143 to the SIUE exit, toward SIUE. Turn right onto IL-3 S/Lewis & Clark Blvd (signs for Granite St.). Turn left onto Frontage Rd./New Poag Rd. Turn right onto NW University Drive. Turn right onto N. Circle Dr. and follow around until it becomes S. Circle Drive. Continue on S. Circle Dr. until you get to Residence Dr. and turn left into Parking Lot B. You will see the building with a blue geodesic dome on top of it, at the far end of the parking lot, across from the Student Success Center.

FROM I-270:

Take the SIUE/IL 157 (exit 9) and follow signs toward SIUE. At the stoplight, go straight onto SIUE South Access Rd. / S. University Drive. Continue on S. University Drive for 2.4 miles, make a U-turn at P1 Rd., back onto S. University Drive. Turn right onto S. Circle Drive. In 0.2 miles, turn right at Residence Dr., into Visitor's Parking Lot B. You will see the building with a blue geodesic dome on top of it, at the far end of the parking lot, across from the Student Success Center.

Parking:

Visitor Lot B is a pay lot. Open parking is available during the following times:

• Monday - Thursday: After 8 p.m.

• Friday: After 4:30 p.m.

• Saturday and Sunday: Anytime
